Day 113- Polish American Association and Spring Gel Clings

I met a wonderful Polish man last year who reminded me of my grandpa.  He made me feel as if my grandpa was speaking to me and sending me a message to make it to Poland someday.  I know I'll follow that advice one day, and I'm sure that it will feel as if he's with me again.  For now, I'm making a donation to the Polish American Association in honor of these two fantastic men.

The goal of this organization is to help the Polish American community.  They assist with language classes, vocational training, job development and classes, computer literacy classes, and much more.

We were at Target today.  Have I mentioned how much I love Target?  I just ADORE that place.  We had a bunch of things to take care of, but I have an obligation to look at the dollar section every time I go in, so I had to stop there first.  Have I mentioned how much I love the dollar section at Target?

I got all excited when I saw a price tag for gel clings on the shelf.  I was so excited about this that I probably should have been embarrassed.  I wasn't.  I had previously found snowflake clings and Valentine's clings for my classroom window in the dollar section, but I hadn't been able to find anything to replace these once they went out of season.  When I realized that it was little notebooks and stickers instead of gel clings in the section where I found the sticker, I was devastated.  I was so devastated that I probably should have been embarrassed to be so affected.  I was a little bit.  Noticing how my face fell, Tom started pawing through sections next to me.  When he uncovered some spring gel clings, I squealed with joy.

I realize how silly this must all seem, but that's ok.  I can't wait to put these little butterfiles and flowers and other clings up on my window tomorrow.  It's the little things, isn't it?

Thank you, spring gel clings, you made my day.
