Day 29- SUV at the Four Way Stop

A simple gesture of human kindness.

Two cars approach  a four way stop and roll up to their respective lines at exactly the same time.  One car is turning left, the other going straight.  The car traveling straight flashes its lights, as if to say "After you, ma'am."

I smiled as I turned left. 

Thank you, SUV at the Four Way Stop, you made my day.

Day 223- Katie Thompson

Math time! Katie Thompson + "Heaven is a Place on Earth" - Belinda Carlisle= an exquisite remake What a moving and beautiful driving/dancing/whirling lullaby.  It is a bubble bath in a song.  I heard it first tonight on SYTYCD ,  and I'm sure I'll hear it at least a couple hundred more times before I move on to my next Flavor of the Week. Ahhhh.... there's something so wonderful and honest about a song stripped down to a woman, a piano, and a flood of emotion. Thank you, Katie Thompson, you made my day.
